PAST
Miss Fannie Bush was the principal of the Washington Street
School at the time it was destroyed by a tornado. The Clark
County School Board then purchased and remodeled a two-story,
eight-bedroom mansion on North Main Street from the Simpson
family in 1922. The
Simpson home was then named after Miss Fannie Bush and
remained the school until 1955.

on the original grounds of the Simpson mansion at 250 North Main

Winchester, Kentucky. A library addition was added in 1968.
FUTURE
We are proud of our past
